Evaluation of the effectiveness of immersive virtual reality therapy as a method of supporting pulmonary rehabilitation, Journal of Clinical Medicine, 2021
Sebastian R. et al.
Results: Analysis of the results showed a reduction in stress levels only in the VR group (p < 0.0069). Symptoms of depression (p < 0.001) and anxiety (p < 0.0009) were also statistically significantly reduced only in the VR group. Thus, pulmonary rehabilitation with immersive VR therapy has many benefits, including improved mood and reduced anxiety and stress in COPD patients. N=50
