Testimonies
I found it very relaxing. The landscape is absolutely beautiful with the lake, birds, and flowers. I didn't even notice when the surgeon started the procedure; I was so relaxed. The nurse told me I would feel a sharp scratch when the needle was inserted, but I didn't feel anything at all.
I recently had the opportunity to try a VR headset during a procedure under local anesthesia, a procedure I had previously undergone without the use of VR. My experience was positive, and I would encourage others to give it a try. The reasons are:
- It helps relax the patient while remaining fully aware of their environment at the beginning of the procedure.
- The soothing voice helps the patient breathe correctly and resist the temptation to hold their breath.
- You stay in contact with the patient.
- Many choices in terms of immersive experiences.
- Easily adjustable position if necessary during the procedure.
